Not sure of how you are designing it, but if it can just replace the tailgate cap or make sure it does not extend too far in at the top that would be great. Those of us with soft tonneaus cannot use the Air Design one because it will not allow the tailgate to close as it is too tight against the seal of the bed cover.

I second the request to completely replace the current cap with your new design. That should also please those that don't want "stuck-on" accessories and would work for those that might have a damaged one instead of purchasing a factory cap.

Am looking at the top of my
tailgate I only have inch and half with my hard tonneau cover that goes over the tailgate,, is the spoiler going to fit? I would love to buy one it needs something back there.
