I have just shy of 33k miles on my 22 AWD XL and these past couple weeks romping on the gas the truck has felt kind of shaky, but this past past weekend we went camping and driving on the highway (especially speeding up to merge or pass) the truck shook so much I felt like the wheels were going to fall off. Thankfully it started getting that bad on the way back into town and I just drove like a grandpa the rest of the way.

Took it to the dealership and the squeezed me in a day later. The advisor called me and said he did the recalls and the tech did not find any issues with the truck and I was like "You better have him check again, I will be more than happy to head over there right now and do a test drive with him. My phone was literally falling off the magsafe holder on the dash when I was merging" and he told me he would call me back. A few hours later he gave me a call and said yup BOTH cv axles are bad and they will need to order them. I got a call today saying they got them in and should be installed by tomorrow.

I can't wait to get my truck back, I literally just installed a MBRP cat back exhaust, K&N Intake, go fast bits DV+ BOV, and Panda motorworks power module 3 days before I took it in and have not gotten any time to enjoy it

Really is disappointing, that when you take a vehicle in for an issue, all they want to do is the recalls, and you had to re-address the reason you really took it in for. I guess it's just Ford's method of operations these days in this max recall environment.

The dullards that work in the Big Box Ford store I had my Explorer in for service were clueless - watching them diagnose my Timberline was akin to seeing a service tech just point a "parts shotgun" at my truck and just blast away until they get lucky and hit it with the correct part and diagnosis....

ya the only reason I took it to the dealership was because it had warranty left and I heard the CV axles are revised\updated parts. So now I will put either a Leveling kit or lift on and see how long the new cv axles last and when those go out I will install the tremor ones myself.

A few weeks ago I was driving my 2025 hybrid (~2000mi) and felt a tinge of a vibration and noise. My first thought was that it was the CV joints and that they are going to go bad sooner than they should. Keeping a close watch for now.

ya that's how it started out was just a small vibration every now and then (I don't go on the highway a lot and dont really have a lead foot) and probably 3 weeks later is when I took it on the camping trip and going down it was noticeable but not horrible, but coming back it was bad. The camping spot was about 200 miles each way with about 15ish miles on a maintained gravel road.
