Are you sure yours has dual injection? A quick AI search says that job2 mavericks only have DI and job 3 mavericks (July 2025 and later) have dual injection.
Oh really? I'm not sure I guess. I knew that GPF was arriving later, and confirmed I don't have that on mine. Is the port injection only related to the GPF equipment?
Thats dissapointing. I was very glad to not have to worry about LSPI on this engine/trans...I guess I'll be sure I keep the Rs up before spooling then.

Edit: I'm going out to look here.

Ill try to post pics to prove, but I'm quite positive I see the lower (blue) rail and the light blue fuel line piping that feeds it
And I can see the upper (purple) rail with a squared off end tank with a fuel line and quick connect going to it.
Making me believe both DI and PI are indeed on this Jan 2025 model I have.

Its a tough area to see with eye, so I was taking pics blindly, I will try to sift through the best ones and try to point out what I found.

I know, this is likely quite off topic for this thread. :p But I really want to believe I'm seeing DI+PI on this engine.

I'll be curious to see how much you catch in that.
I'm actually quite glad that the 2025 has Port injection (+ DI) to keep intake valve side clean at least.
Same, if it wasn't for my curiosity I wouldn't have gotten the catch can, haha.

The 2025 EcoBoost is all new with both Port & Direct injection. Aluminum valves covers are new too.

The title says it all. What was the first thing you bought for your Maverick? What made it the first thing? What have you bought for your Maverick that you regret buying?

I have a pile of stuff waiting in my Amazon cart to get, but I was curious what others bought first and why.

Mud flaps, sill protectors, fender flares and ratchet straps. The ratchet straps are my fav purchase to date as I always need to get stuff secured in the bed. Just loaded up on other stuff during Prime Day.

Its WAY too hard to try and get a good picture (its also dark out now), but my June build has DI and port. Attached a picture of the emissions decal.

Here, to bring closure (mostly for myself), I add my reply over here (post #97 if it doesn't take you directly via link): https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...d-design-for-2025-maverick.59549/post-1163850
With pics and labels and such. I hope it helps someone.
I'm mostly convinced of what I see, and it matching what the Ford diagram indicates - implying DI and PI for 2025.

Looks like someone in the know at Ford had already replied to that thread in the first couple pages, confirming it.
(But you scared me into doubting it. AI - adding worry, and misinformation into the world. lol)

Well, that was easier than my method. hah But I got pics and proof for...myself dam nit.

Does yours have a GPF? (I'm assuming not, if you are not in CA.)

Just swapped stock muffler with a Cherry Bomb Salute. Love it! A more manly sound with minimal increase in DBs inside cabin.
Love it.

I just took delivery of my Maverick last Friday, and ordered a set of Weathertech floor liners yesterday, Tuesday, and they'll arrive tomorrow, Thursday.

Does the stock carpeted floor mats feel comfy, sure. But this is a truck, I love to camp and tailgate, and winter is coming. I plan of keeping the Maverick a long time, so I want as much protection for the vehicle as possible.

The next upgrade is the spray in bedliner the dealership still owes me. Sounds like they use a shop that does Rhinoliner that's nearby. Again I love protection for the vehicle.

After that, perhaps the trash can that fits on the rear of the center counsel???

Bed cover, Then, front door window tints, next was a front of hood shield, and tailgate letters.
