I did the grill lights, as I like the look. I then realized that the bundled wire was for the side marker lights. So I bought them and installed last May I think. Still work good, and very reasonably priced.
The center was plain so found some 1/2 lettering from California, buy some extra as they are a one shot deal lol.
The white lights are bright, don't bother me as we need all the "presence" that we can add.

White side marker lights are illegal in California and most other states. More like "plug and pray"....you don't get pulled over. :sneaky:
well, it's CA. I see people every day with police-blue "accent lights" driving around, and they're not getting pulled over. The cops we have left are too busy. I'm thinking of getting red/blue flashing lights so people will get out of my way during traffic jams.

I'm looking at getting side marker lights for two reasons:
-Lane changing in bumper-to-bumper traffic
-Continued removal of all the free advertising such as "FORD" and "MAVERICK". The Side panels have an unnecessary model designation. (Ford refused to compensate me for advertising their products via public display of make and model)

I like the concept of it but the execution is not my cup of tea. It bulges out too much. Plus, with the back and forth banter on the legality of it, I wouldn't want to install something that may or may not get me pulled over. That's the last thing I want to worry about driving around.

I drive my Mavrick with the same tried and true methods I rode motorcycles without ever getting hit.

Always pretend your invisible, at the same time,
Always drive like you’re driving a 4 axle dump truck.
Drive big, command your position, move around to be more visible.

At the same time think like you’re invisible because you are to the texting idiots.

I see no advantage to overly bright side running lights.
I think ground effect lighting would do far more to help you to be seen.

I have driven lots of miles on my motorcycles and never gotten hit either.

I got these lights strictly for the turn signal communication at intersections and angels where another driver may not be able to see your stock turn signal. I realize I may be the odd duck who actually uses my turn signal, especially in NC.

If in the event of a breakdown the added emergency flashers can only be a good thing. All the other features are fine with me.

Are you talking about the tiny side marker by the front bumper? I believe they just stay steady with headlights/ parking lights.

I did these with smoked lens, not as bright👋🏼

Those look sweet. I like the smoke colored better. I got the clear smoked front side marker lights. Where did you buy those?
