🚨 Hybrid Maverick 2.5L is OKTB!

What can cause some orders not to "schedule a build date" to happen? Is it still some of the accessory restrictions? I took of my spray in liner months ago hoping it would get mine scheduled. I also have the bed extender, which I have NOT taken off. Could that holdup? I am an early August order and can be patient - but if I KNOW something will delay it, I would rather have the truck and get the accessory down the line some other time.

Yes, Me. Build date next week and still no window sticker.

I got mines on Thursday before the build date next week. I think it come out late on Wednesday (11/24 was at the bottom of my window sticker) before the build date the following week. I hope this info help you.

I put a order in for the hybrid and was told by the dealership that Ford was not taking anymore orders for the hybrid so did that change and Ford is now taking orders and does the Maverick Hybrid get the 7500 Biden tax that I heard about last week.

The $7500 tax credit is for all electric plug in only.

Jun 17th Ordered through dealer
Aug 12th FOMOCO email production for week of Oct 4th
Sep 14th FOMOCO email production change for week of Oct 11th
Oct 21st FOMOCO email "Thanks for being first..", offers free FIT accessories kit
Nov 29th FOMOCO email (picture below), built and ETA late December
Nov 29th Local Ford dealers sends confirmation of delivery first week of January 2022

Build: Hybrid XL, 360 co-pilot, rear sliding window, tow hitch, in-cabin inverter, all-weather floor mats.

Nice. I ordered from Evergreen Ford as well, so good to see them getting one in soon.

Just in from Ford:

"We are excited to announce that the official OK-To-Buy declaration has been achieved for the 22MY Maverick 2.5L Hybrid model and will now begin shipping to our Ford dealers."​

This means that the Hybrid Maverick is now sellable (has passed all tests/etc) and can be shipped from factory to dealers/customers/etc.

Same situation, ordered mine on 7/12/21 and no build scheduled. I got moved from priority level 10 to level 2 last week, however. At least the weather will be starting to break in Cleveland by the time I get the keys. Better communication to pending order customers from Ford would have been appreciated.

I am not a tax specialist my CPA told me ,If it does not plug into an electrical outlet it does not qualify for the $7500 credit (plug in hybrid qualifies ,also I believe cutoff for the 2022 Hybrid was 11/15/2021

Scheduling emails go out Thursday’s, or if you have your order number you can call ford Maverick hotline and see if you have a build date. The number is around here somewhere, but I don’t know it off the top of my head

Just wait a day or two. There will be a question about towing 2000#. Even though there is a nice write up right now. Kinda easy to figure out who has parents that still cut their food up into little pieces for them.

Yours has to be one of the ones that is already built and being prepped for delivery soon. Nothing like being "in production" for two months!
