Paint Protector Strip Installed on Roof - Not A Cab Spoiler

My latest 3M Tape mod. $29 paint protection strip if you have to lean/carry ladders etc in your Maverick work truck.

My Lobo isn’t a work truck, but I’m ditching the SoCal lowered street truck look for a more rugged SoAz ranch hand look grrrr.

Not for me, I think that the plastic adds on look gawdy, like a transformers style Tacoma trying to be something it isn't.

For decades now, I've been able to avoid scratching the cab by placing a hand towel underneath anything leaned against the cab - which has been very few and far between - because if you're transporting a ladder you want to reduce drag not increase it and having it against the tailgate where there is already MIC plastic is the far better play.

Gave it some UV protectant before I put it on. It was folded into thirds for shipping. Flexible. Easy to remove it it doesn’t hold up $29 w/free shipping no huge loss. Recyclable probably

Probably humpy to keep anything leaned against it from moving too much. The cab roof is humpy for added strength.

I have the same one, haven't installed it yet. I'm thinking of putting 3-wire lights in it, but was surprised that it's more of a soft rubber than a hard plastic. It should offer some protection for the cab.

It's humpy to keep things from moving left to right, they fit into the indents and move around less ladder rail ect. Looks good I do like it.
