does the spoiler match the black roof or did you have to get it colored matched
I had it painted locally to match; comes painted matte. There's a website that will paint it to the color you want before it's shipped, I'll post when I find it.

I have the gorilla lugs sitting on the kitchen counter can't wait to change them, looks so much better 😍
I agree. First thing I ordered were the Gorilla lugs after seeing someone else's post. Definitely an improvement in appearance. And now none of the fan-wheel haters can steal my sweet-ass rims.

Yes, paddle extensions for the OEM paddle shifters. Not sure if I like them either. Thinking I should have gotten the black ones; we'll see as time goes by.
You can shift from top and side but bottom doesn't work on these.
Black looks way better!

Front license plate mounted, unfortunately.

:geek: Not that I would complain, but being black it matches pretty well. If it wasn’t for the words you barely see it. Mine was mounted. Higher, but then, I was in a 2 license plate state When i bought my MAV. I like it for my custom plate.

Black looks OK. I have some black ones sitting in the box, waiting to be installed.
Did you use the set screws as well? Or just the sticky tape?
I'm thinking the screws will make it feel more 'solid' when using the levers/extensions?

Looks better than HOLES in the front bumper, but blocks a lot more air flow to the IC (which I suspect is already lacking in its cooling capacity).
Both are about equally as bad. lol

I used the tape & the set screws.
I’m thinking of removing the 3M tape because it is adding some flex. I cannot use the up shift “+” at the tip because the very rigid lever flexes instead of engaging.
Maybe adds an inch to the shifting, but not up to the top.

The set screws are very tiny & inconvenient to tighten. Start them a bit before mounting! A couple spares were included - already lost one. I’d recommend a bondus head tool if you have one.

I didn't use the screws, I only used the 3M tape, it's been more than a year with zero issues, nada

Interesting. Now I think I’ll remove the screws & leave the tape attached. Maybe the screws are lifting up the tape causing the flex. Good feedback, thanks!

Thats my concern, a sloppy/softer feel, with 'play'/squish added from adhesive interface.
I'll probably never get the mechanical feel I'm really looking for, but also don't want to make it feel worse.
I'll maybe mock it up with only set screws if its secure enough to trial. Not that having one fall off is all that detrimental in this scenario, where the Paddles aren't even a requirement to function. But also don't want to mark/scratch up the stock plastic if I can avoid it. I wonder if we'll see aftermarket paddles that replace the whole stock plastic lever? Is that a thing?

If we are talking about the Sanrily $29 “Ford Type B” extensions (pic below) - they seem very well made & robust. I’m sure the flex I’m getting only on the up shift “+” lever topside is due to poor installation (me). I can’t see them doing any damage unless you over torque the set screws. Your idea of doing a mock up is perfect. Just be in a calm frame of mind & prepare to contort yourself to tighten the bottom tiny screws! Clean your mat before you begin in case you drop a screw or the little tool - easier to find that way.

I’m going to remove my screws & try tape only.

The added size of the extension is nice - even if using only 3/4 of the extension as I am now:)

Gloss black painted roof spoiler
Deets on the gloss black spoiler?
Did you buy it that way? Or custom paint it?

I only want a spoiler if its gloss black to match the gloss black Lobo roof.
I think the 'plastic' look doesn't fit the Lobo well, personally.
Its probably fine on all the other Mavericks, with as much matte plastic as they have.
