Ok, Just a heads up for anyone who has ordered a truck and waiting for it to arrive. If you are getting the Military Recognition Program cash reward discount and it is going to expire before the truck arrives and you can close the deal. I reached out to Ford last night. They replied to me this morning to say that if the certificate you have expires you can apply for another one. You can get up to 5 in a year. That does not mean the cash reward will be for the same amount, but they say you can apply for a new certificate.

I'm just curious what has been, or what will be, your wait time (based on your build date) when you finally take delivery of your 2025 Ford Maverick?

I'll go first:

2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD 4K Eruption Green

Ordered confirmation from Ford:
16 Dec. 2024
Build date: 12 May 2025
Guessed delivery: Early-mid June (dealership in Utah)

I feel like 6 months is ridiculous, but I'm curious what everyone else's experience has been.
There is no way of knowing when your truck will be delivered to your dealer. it all depends on the trucker who will transport it from the rail station to the dealer. Some trucks that were shipped on the same train, going to the same dealer, waited 2 weeks for another trucker who has room on his truck going to that dealer. And if you think 6 months is ridiculous time to wait, many of us waited over a year!

Got mine (same build except for color) in 8 weeks from order date.

My order was supposed to get delivered this week, but Ford slid the delivery date out to 7/7 today. Ironically that is when the cash promotions end. So it looks like the promotion incentive is going to expire before I can close the deal. Pretty sad, ordered in April and couldn't get the truck before the promotions ended. I have a email off to Ford about this to see what they say and pinged my sales rep at the dealership.
That seems very unfair. When I signed the deal to order mine (AWD hybrid black appearance sunroof and 4K tow) the employee discount was part of the deal in writing and regardless of delivery. I’m hoping Ford does right by you. You absolutely deserve to receive the incentive. Not your fault build and shipping are taking longer than expected.

Drove up to the dealer. They brought out a beautiful green, loaded Mav . I bought it. So my wait was about 15 minutes.

Same here. I never really got the concept of ordering. Somewhere within a couple of hundred miles of your home, a dealer has to have something close to what you are looking for in stock. I'd rather drive 300 miles than wait half a year. I guess some people are really specific about what they want.
