So when open how close to "open" does your bed cover open?? I Love that look!! But I haul my bicycle and unless they can fold up against the cab I will not be able to fit my bike with the tailgate closed

That is the same cover I just installed. It is a BakFlip MX4 and it folds up against the back window for full access to the bed. The small piece on the front side of the be projects about 6" from the front wall. I have a Maxzina Tailgate Assist Compatible with 2022-2025 Ford Maverick.

It locks on the hinge.

I found the instructions and install videos do not tell you that the pin pegs should be removed and reinstalled as 2 separate parts instead of popping it off as one piece loudly and forcing it in till it bends. The first one took me frustratingly too long but I figured it out by the 2nd wheel.

I did the same thing on my first one!!

I removed all the buttons/pins on the 1st fender well before I relished I only needed to remove the ones that matched the holes in the fender flair.

Robert - something is missing in this pic.

Adding the strut shouldn't mean losing a tie-down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine.

Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I keep making more. I have a thread here in the For Sale forum if anyone would like one. Don't lose a tie-down point!

I did not. I cleaned and prepped where the tape goes. Let it sit in Wisconsin sun to bake it on. I have not had any issues

First thing I thought of is thumbs down. That's what it looks like to me.

I've been eyeballing these for a bit. Never noticed thumbs down

If you look at them without the reverse or stop light kind of looks like a stylized "F" though.
