Who else got the base trim? I did and I love it!

I picked up a lightly used 2022 XL as my second vehicle to replace a 2008 Ranger Super cab. The upgrade is MONUMENTAL... as expected.

I got a bed cover and had to put on hubcaps <shudder> until I get some new rims... really did not like the black panted steels ones.

My 24 XL replaced a 97 GMC Sonoma. The XL has the features that I wanted without stuff I did not want to pay for. The only thing I wish the XL had is Sync4 (like the 25s) for Sirius radio - wife has in her CRV and love listening to Casey Kasem and American Top 40. I also prefer the steelies - reminds me of the wheels on my 94 Geo Prizm.

Love my base trim Maverick. I don’t like bells and whistles that I never use. I don’t like to drive around and worry why I even got that so I’m very satisfied.

I think with the steelies I'd want the larger center caps, "baby half moons" or "dog dish" or whatever the kids are calling them these days. Think those would look decent. Maybe ones that fit are hard to find though or I thought I would have seen some on someone's by now.

I like the center caps on your wheels. Where can these be found? Any mods required to get them to fit? Nice truck!

XL on order here, just shipped and expecting it to arrive in the next few weeks. I optioned a few things like CoPilot 360 for the blind spot warning system which gets you the power mirrors. The trailer hitch, spray in bed liner. Stuff like that. These trucks already come with pretty much everything I could ask for. In the XL I would have liked it if there was a more base work level trim that had the vinyl flooring instead of carpet, and vinyl seats. I work my trucks so a more durable base would have been a nice option. If I was going to splurge it would be for 360 cameras as I am in tight quarters frequently so vision all around would have been helpful. Sadly 360 cameras aren't an option in the XL. Otherwise I think I am going to be thrilled with the Maverick.
