Hey Yall!

I just purchased the 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid AWD!(Literally last Wednesday)I am super excited for this truck since it's my first car I have purchased for myself. I just got a tri-fold Aluminum Tonneau bed cover installed on it. I am getting recommendations to put a spray-in bedliner on it over a hard drop-in bedliner. What do you think would be the better option.

On a side bar, I am moving cross country from Georgia to Seattle in a few days and am super excited to make the trip with the Hybrid Maverick!

What's the best thing about the spray-in?
durability. when applied correctly, which a name brand shop would do, it will outlast the truck. Unmatched durability imo. yes it will cost a little more initially, but you would expect that in a quality, durable product

Thanks for the advice! Once I complete my cross country trek, I'll have to get it done.

Cost aside, spray in is the winner.
Also it doesn't block screw holes or cubby holes or extra tie down points or other things you may want to do later.
And water can not get under it.
Also spray in is not as "slippery" as a hard plastic drop in.

Thanks! I am definitely leaning in that direction for sure. I just have to get through my move first haha.

Spray In with the Maverick Bed Mat
So are you happy with the Maverick Bed Mat on top of your spray in liner? I just recently bought a Maverick bed mat but haven't installed it yet. My truck doesn't have a spray in liner yet but I'm planning on and then adding the bed mat on top. Still looking into a tonneau cover as well.

How does a bed mat reach to getting wet over and over?
Does it dry quickly? retain smell?

I would argue that a spray in bed liner is more durable than a drop in. The spray in can be scratched and is more prone to bend the truck's bed sheet metal if you drop heavy stuff. A drop in will protect it better but it also has it drawbacks, one of the bigger ones being water intrusion, this is especially bad if you live in a humid environment.
