Not safe but it looks like a 12 foot board fits from the dash through the rear slider out to just past the tailgate. Will require some engineering, cushions and straps. That is a Tonno Pro Low-roll soft roll up cover. Never had a cover to compare too, but seems nice. Easy installation took about 4 Lone Stars.

I did that a couple of times but I spanned a couple of 4x4s across the bed so I could strap them down.

I use the pass through rear window all the time for long material. The one caution for everyone is not to rest your load on the glass. Normally I use a foam yoga block and rest material on that. Spanning the bed with 2X's is a good solution and I will use it.

there is an inexpensive alternative from Harbor Freight. Cost about $60 It uses the bed floor and the trailer hitch. It fits 4 x 8 plywood sheets and longer material. I have hauled 12 ft long lumber https://www.harborfreight.com/truck-bed-extender-69650.html
