New Guy - Going broke buying accessories

Yes, just like my house and RV, my Maverick is sucking up money. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between needs and wants. I really think I need to upgrade my 70" TV to an 80".

I had to edit my original post twice because I forgot about things I bought.

It's better to die broke and happy than rich and miserable.

I wanted to upgrade my TV from a 75" to an 85-90". My wife put her foot down (fortunately NOT in my posterior) with a hard "NO!" My Maverick, she just shakes her head and say's "You bought something else!?!" I justify it by saying "Hey! It's just small stuff honey!" Yeah, that works...LOL! But it was kinda hard to call the fender flares small.

So, I can't stop buying stuff. The other day I ordered 4 more 'little' things:
Glove box organizer
Center console organizer
Box for the cubby hole next to the screen
Trash bag holder for the rear seat.

I might have to go to Maverick Rehab?

I wasn't against buying a '25, but the inventory of Hybrids was super limited at the dealerships. The place I got mine from only had 3, (all '24) and one of those had a sold sign in it. I did get a price I was happy with.

Last year I bought an 85” tv and had a contractor recess it into a 4” deep “tv niche” to flush mount it. Then I bought a Marantz cinema 30 receiver, 2x 10” subs and flush mounted the surround speakers and the in-ceiling Dolby Atmos speakers.

I've already traded in 2 wives and have gotten hooked on #3! She did want me to get my Maverick though. I think she may be softening on the 85...

I understan. I ordered my 2025 Lariat Hybrid 4K tow in Decembe. Not part of Job 2 so I didn’t get Pro Tow stuff (which I wanted). My dealer ordered another Job 2 for me but that still hasn’t been built. I am a happy camper.

One of the great things about the Maverick, it reminds you of your first car. Remember buying all the cool things you added to your ride to make it stand out. White wall tires, reburb for the radio, fancy hubcaps AHA, they knew it was you when you drove down the street! Those were the days.

This is my first posting. I'm very nervous. First, I want to thank everyone that takes time to put up posts. I have read hundreds of posts since I got my Maverick. They have been very helpful. At the end of February, it was time to say goodbye to my 17 yr old 2007 Cadillac DTS. We wanted the new car to be flat towable behind our motorhome, so we bought a 2024 Catcus Grey Lariat Hybrid with moonroof and the black package. It's a really nice ride.

Since buying the truck, I've bought and personally installed:

When the weather changes in Chicago, I'll be doing a ceramic coating job on it.

I thought I was done, but I see 2 cool things listed by some of the folks doing the 3D printing. Maybe another $50.

Does the spending ever end?

Once again thanks to all the folks who post. You helped me a lot.

I'm affaid you've caught the Maverick virus. No vaccine available. Temporary cure is to continue spending. Keeps you happy until you need to buy something else. Some people have stated that seeing another full size truck keeps them from buying something for a few days.
