Apple CarPlay Infotainment Screen Has A New Icon

Two days ago the Ford Tech came and did the rear camera reprogram as per the camera recall. The next day my iPhone 16 did the iOS 18.4 update. I am using the OTTOCAST U2Air Pro Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone - 2025 Wired to Wireless CarPlay Dongle.

Today I noticed a difference in the infotainment screen icons. There is a new icon- I circled in red. Touching it doesn't seem to trigger an action.

Checked the phone to see if it might be something the iOS added but didn't see anything.

Anyone else have the icon or know what it represents??

I've always had that icon with wired CarPlay albeit in a different spot. Don't remember where exactly or what it means, but I know I've seen it before!

Thanks. It might have been there, in a different location before even with the wired connection, but I don't remember ever seeing it

Looks like it would have something to do with ringtone. The bell definitely indicates something to do with a phone call.

Received this from the Apple Community:
just means notifications are enabled, so when you get a text for example, your car will read it out to you. Touching it won't do anything as you've learned.
