2025 Printed Manual for Glovebox

Yesterday, I posted about an OEM Ford manual wallet/cover for the factory 22-24 owners manuals on eBay. Some of the replies talked about 25's not even getting a printed manual anymore, which is fine if you like looking at your phone screen in the middle of nowhere trying to find some cryptic troubleshooting advice in the PDF manual. But for those of you looking for an actual paper/book manual to put in your glovebox, this seller on eBay has them available for $57. A little pricey, but they seem to be hard to come by, and it would probably cost this much to print a 500-page manual at your local printer, or with an online printing company. Just search for the seller listed in the photo below, and if it's something you're interested in, hope this helps.

The manual is also contained in the infotainment center of the Maverick.
So in essence the manuel does come with the vehicle. This way the manual can never be lost, You always have a manual if you buy a used 25+ Maverick. Unlike printed only manuals.

It's cool added feature on the 25's. 22-24's would never work because of that small screen. I'm just old-school, and if I'm outside the vehicle doing something, I would hate to have to keep running back to the screen. Plus, I don't care if I get a paper manual dirty, but would hate to put greasy fingerprints on that large screen!

Fact: Printed owners manuals aren't coming back.
The manual is also downloadable for Free to your PC. laptop, tablet AND Phone. You may be able to purchase a paper manual approximately $57 plus tax maybe shipping too. Very important if you're going to buy a printed manual to is to get the current updated one. The 2025 manual has already been updated at least once.

I agree, but in looking at my '24 printed manual, I can see it was designed to be a computer document. The organization is lousy. I had to look two different places to find the fuel tank capacity. Why not list it under fuel and refueling? It's not like there's no room.

I've bought new Fords since 1990. I've never received a supplement to an owner's manual.

I have. It was only on vehicles that I bought brand new. I remember one update in particular. It was on how to use the seat belt properly. The instructions were omitted from the manual so they had to send everybody a supplement.
Some cars also had mid-year changes done to them. They required a supplement to the owner's manual. Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth was known for that.

I downloaded my 2023 to my phone. My owner's manual is still sealed in plastic in my glove compartment, in case I ever need it. I use my phone for everything pictures, screenshots videos, browsing the internet occasionally even making phone calls.
Here's a good example in the time it took to reply to your post I edited my post went to my manual took a screenshot of seat belts and posted it here. Well seated outside having a cup of coffee. All on my phone.
I'm 70 I realized you either change with the times or you get left behind. I chose not to be left behind.

Can you imagine the complaints that happen when Ford quit including a crank with their vehicles. Oh my God is that electrical system going to keep working? How am I going to start my car if I have a dead battery?

I bought my 2023's manual off e-bay for $65 + tax. I have used the on-board manual that is somewhat intuitive, but I guess I'm too old school as I like the paper manual.

I bought a 1991 Mustang LX 5.0 hatchback, 1995 Mustang GTS coupe, and 2001 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor brand new. I don't recall ever getting an owner's manual update. I did get an updated sticker about airbags to place on the sun visor for the '95, I think.

I don't mind that vehicle owner manuals are going the way of phone books. I really like the .pdf manual, vs paper, mainly because:

• Text can be zoomed to easily read on a PC, tablet or phone.
• It's searchable, to quickly find what you're looking for - vs flipping though the paper version's index or TOC.

I haven't looked at the paper book since I downloaded the .pdf version
