Truck Bed Lights With spray in bed liner

Has anyone installed the Nilight Truck Bed lights, in a Bed with the factory Spray in Bed liner?

I am wondering if the 3M tape will stick to the rough surface. I do have the 3M promoter.

You might try getting some magnetic tape and adhering the LED strips to the tape. Check to see if the magnetic tape will adequately hold.

I was able to get 3m hvb tape to stick to the spray in liner after cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol for the tailgate gap filler on the 22 I had

I have had no problem, and as stated above, I cleaned it real good with isopropyl alcohol. Been in my truck for almost a year and a half.

Regarding the LED lights themselves, what did you folks order? There are so many options and just looking for suggestions. Thanks

I didn't do strip lights, added a led light on each side of the bed, near the cubbies. Had a couple small wedges 3d printed that match the size of the lights so they are slightly turned and don’t point straight back

For those interested I bought these Nilight lights for my bed. On the sides they are mounted up in the bottom side of the rails and stuck to the plastic. Three are 1 on each side that is stuck to the front of the bed underneath the rear window on the spray in bedliner and I have had no problems with that staying in place.

the oem switch, just moved it into the 12v outlet cover. cutting out the cover wasn't real easy, and have to take the switch apart to get it in the opening, then re-assemble and install but it's possible. I didn't "splice" into anything factory, just bought a plug that attached to the OEM light wiring and then attached the lights to that wiring.
