Placed order for a Lariat Hybrid on 1/21/25. Was told that it went into production on 2/18/25. Received text message today: "Your Maverick is almost built, but it is taking longer than estimated. We'll send an update as soon as we can". Prior to this, was given an ETA to Tampa of 3/27/25.

Mine was scheduled for Jan 6 , was pushed back until Jan 27 …
I actually cancelled the order in November cause I was wanting the pro trailer/ hitch assist. Dealer did not cancel as he said if you don’t take it he would sell it. So we ordered a second one which is scheduled mar 3. So with that been said. My truck actually was built on Monday Feb 3 (my daughter’s bday) and now showing the hitch features as they were not there as of Friday last week. So I will be taking the first one I originally ordered if indeed those features are there.
Hope you all having great evening.
cheers
Steve.

If you can't backup a trailer without a pro trailer/ hitch assist you don't deserve a truck. I tried it with my f150 and hate it. Get use to backing up without it. Cheers

Thanks for the heads up, but I have autofill for those and load the page fresh each time I check so that shouldn't be an issue for me 🙂

edit: I checked again on a whim after your post and it was updated again a few hours ago with dates:

So it seems like it might be a Saturday build and it's actually just been started 😆
The tracker updated 3/4/25 but didn't change anything status wise, but it was updated again today 3/8/25 and changed to built. It does feel a bit foot-draggy... the production was started on the very last day of the production week, and the "few days" in production was another full week. Hopefully shipping is fast as I'd like to be driving this before the end of March if possible. That gives them three full weeks and a couple days to get it up here. The estimate is 04/05/2025 - 04/11/2025.

I'm not saying not to trust the tracker's ETA, but I will say that my tracker had a 2-week ship time ETA originally (built 02/14/2025 with ETA 03/01/2025) and I'm at almost a month since it marked "Shipped" and the vehicle is still not here (current ETA is next week).

That delay may be partially due to your location in a fly-over state. I'm within a few hours drive of the major population centers of the Northeast (New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Baltimore) AND near the three major interstates that serve them so there is A LOT of shipping traffic heading this way. I'm cautiously optimistic about the shipping. 😄

don't trust the tracker as it does not take into account that the so said ' last mile" is up to your dealer. They wait to get multiple cars and trucks on the transport instead of just one or two. I am in this boat right now my tracker shows est 3/5/25 - 3/11/25 still nothing I talk to my dealer who said it still in New Jersey and has not yet made it way up to New York. Expected time 3/17/25 - 3/20/25

This flyover state has two of the main railroads in the country going through it (and the world's largest railyard). I can assure you that a 'lack of shipping traffic' isn't really the issue. It being a flyover state is kind of pointless. Ford doen't ship their cars on planes.

Your Maverick was shipped only a day or two before my Maverick. My Maverick has been sitting in the Kansas City railhead since 3/3/25. My dealer, Granger Ford, is only 200 miles from Kansas City. My Ford tracker says 3/17/25 to 3/23/25 ETA. The VINview at Granger says 3/24/25-3/30/25 for ETA. I had faster shipping during COVID (12/21) for my first Maverick than my 2nd order.

Vin View is more reliable than the Ford tracker as this is the time period the dealer has scheduled the pickup and delivery of all the cars and trucks head to their dealership. your dealer is paying the transporters for this time window is my guess. The 1500 destination fee paid to Ford and other manufactures is to get it on and off the rail system at various points. Last mile is always the toughest as it just frustrate all expectations of timely deliveries.

I just called my dealer (in DFW TX) and ALL of their vehicles from Mexico ( Maverick Bronco Sport Mach E ) are sitting at the local train depot on hold from Ford ( do not release ). My Maverick has been their since 2/24. Ford will not speciify the reason for the hold.

Maybe all of the units from that particular dealer are just sitting, but that's not the case for all dealers.

Right, but the train doesn't drop off at the dealership. I'm sitting right off of the primary route for truck traffic into the entire Northeast. If anyone in the Northeast (50+ million people) wants a vehicle it's passing right by me on a truck transport, so there shouldn't be any problems filling a semi-trailer transport and creating an efficient route to my dealer. That's all I'm saying.

If they're holding vehicles for any other reason than creating full trailers, I hope they communicate that to us sooner rather than later.

Well now the tracker says that my order number and vin combination don't correspond with any orders in the system.....

So that's fun.

edit: I think the api that the tracking page utilizes is having issues. this was the response:
