1 week, 1,000 miles, zero complaints!

Flew down to Nashville from Detroit to buy my first truck last weekend, a Velocity Blue, BAP, Lariat. Drove it home 500 miles out so on Sunday.

After a week of cold, snowy commutes, all I can say is I love this truck more than I even thought I would. Getting 30 mpg in single-digit temps and all highway driving, it’s the ultimate commuter.

I added the Ford hard rollup tonneau cover, Ford textured bug deflector, matte black lettering, Smartliner floor mats, USB ambient lighting, and the most important mod— my Detroit Lions decal in the back window! Loving it!

nice truck, love the BAP. Sorry if I’m late on this but looks like your truck has black stripes on hood but another person on this forum with same color truck has silver stripes. what determines what stripes you get?

I’d bet that’s just the way the photo looks and it’s really black. There’s no silver stripes option from the factory, to my knowledge.

Looks amazing. The Lions decal on the back looks so good, great color to match the decal with. Enjoy it they are an awesome truck don't care what anyone else says about it.

I see what Tellyouwhat was saying. I saw that same Blue BAP truck on here but it had silver stripes on the hood. I found the pic....same truck...but different angle. How can that be black if the stripes are black? Sure looks grey/silver to me. Both colors on the hood look great by the way.

I thought I ready that the XLT BAP was getting the silver and the Lariat BAP was getting all black, but this is a Lariat so not sure if that is the case or if someone messed up at the factory. I think the Silver looks really good on the Velocity Blue in my opinion.
