Anyone here that speaks Corporate who can translate?
I think that is beyond corporate into the realm of internal jargon - no dice!

I would interpret the latter half of that Maverick section to read that dealers can't add the spray-in bedliner as an add-on as the xlt luxury and lariat trims include it as part of their packages. I would assume anyone who already did that in their XL or XLT non-lux builds would probably be lucky to have ordered already!

The title of this thread could be a little misleading

I hope that is the case, but after multiple readings I think the latter half of the statement is independent of the former. Would love to hear from one of the dealer experts on this one.

The way I read this, it is saying that spray in bedliner is only being scheduled for XLT with luxury package and lariat with first edition package. The lariat luxury package comes with it, so if that is the case there will be no lariat luxury package only lariat first edition package. I hope iI am reading that wrong.

Re-reading it, I could see it being interpreted both ways. A dealer with knowledge, or an insider would need to give us insight on this one.

And I also agree they appear to be 2 distinct statements related to the same installation detail.

Lariat/First Edition means both luxury packages I believe. Doesn’t make sense to include XLT but not Lariat

I’m not sure about that. Notice the difference in terminology between “XLT Luxury Package” and “Lariat/First Edition”. They didn’t say “Lariat First Edition”, they specifically put the slash in there which typically denotes an either-or. I think that would imply that the models getting first dibs on spray in bed liners are the XLT w/luxury package, Lariats and Lariat First Edition. This would make sense because those are the three trims that are the most profitable for Ford and would therefore be prioritized above the lower margin bottom trim Mavericks.

Here's how I understand it:

If you ordered
1. XLT Luxury Package
2. Lariat Luxury Package
3. First Edition with included Lariat Luxury Package

you have a shot at being scheduled this week.

If you ordered XL, XLT, or Lariat WITHOUT the Lux package, you are not eligible for scheduling in the first three weeks.

I concur!

Here's hoping, also to be clear, this is regional as far as we know.

Across the country, phones are ringing as Maverick buyers call their dealers to change their orders. 😂
