Job 1 vs Job 2

Occasionally, I’ve read posts referring to “job 1” or “job 2”. I have no idea what that is and what the difference is between the two. Can someone educate me?

Production of Job 1 orders began 11/13/2024. Job 1 orders do not include the Pro Trailer Assists. Job 2 orders have not officially started (hopefully tomorrow). Job 2 orders will include the Pro Trailer Assists and production of Job 2 orders will hopefully start production in February.

I placed a deposit on a Lariat hybrid on 11-1-24.
My salesman said I'll received an order number via email. So far I have not received it.
Does that mean I'll be in Job 2 ?

I received my order number email the same day I placed the order.

Also, the order number has nothing to do with what job you are in. However, a later order could put you in a later build date. It really all depends on some magical formula of what you ordered, if your dealer has allocations, and what trim level and add-ons Ford needs at the time to keep the factory busy.

If your Maverick is produced in February, it will be Job 2. If it is produced in January, it will be a Job 1 order.

So… everyone is talking about the trailer assist on job 2’s… what about fog lights on Lariet models? Look at the second bullet under Lariet. Could this be a new feature on job two build? I see that fog lights are pictured and are listed on Lobo trucks. . If you can clearly see the fog lights on the picture forLobo’s. Even though it is listed on the lariat now, there is not a picture of it. .

Where did you find this picture with this information about Lariat having fog lamps? I cannot find it on Ford's website.

When you go to build your Maverick…. Select 2025…. Then above the models, you’ll see tabs that say … key features…. Interior…. Exterior. Highlight exterior

I think that's a typo, I don't see any reference to fog lamps on the actual build options and the images don't show any fog lights either. Maybe copied over from the Lobo
