Hi Everyone: I picked up my 2025 Maverick XL Hybrid AWD Eruption Green today. It is great. I have only driven it about 30 miles. I had a 2022 Ecoboost AWD and the 2025 is a much better quality build in my opinion. The brakes are much better, the hood does not shimmy and shake, and the paint is much better. My 22 was one of the first 5,000 produced and you could tell. This one is much better & I am happy that I am back in a Maverick.

Looking good!!!:sunglasses:Glad to hear that you think quality has improved. Still hanging on to my "22 MY. Only 25k and have no problems.............

I know it is very minor, but what do you think about the cruise with two buttons instead of just a lever to increase or decrease speed? I use the lever a lot and it is just seems so much easier than this new set up which is like that in my wife's Camry.

Your post got me excited for my 2025 Maverick XL Hybrid AWD Desert Sand, due to arrive at the dealer in early February! Let us know how it performs in that snow.

IIRC, a midcycle refresh is often associated with a production line refresh. They can tighten up a lot of tolerances. I'd love to hear what happens on the line for a midcycle refresh from any MTC folk who worked on a production line.

The tires are Continental Pro-Contact. I replaced them today with Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail. They look awesome. I will send pics later. I have only driven around town with them and the computer was reading 38.6. Not too bad! I will take that! I traded in a 23 F-150 w/ the 5.0 Engine that got consistently 15.0 mpg.

After you drive your new Maverick around for a week or so, please answer this. Is there any snow tire noise?
Went to TireRack.com and the tread looks quite aggressive like it might make a lot of noise going down the road.
They are Severe Snow Service Rated. Are you going to leave them on year around?
The big thing is the noise.

Will do! Right off the bat I noticed they are a little louder than the Continentals.

I understand. I have purchased a few items so far. That is what I love about my two Mavericks that I have purchased. You can add your little upgrades to make it your own & it doesn’t cost you an arm and a leg.

Ok I have driven them around for a week. We had 2-3 inches of snow earlier in the week & the tires performed flawlessly. I have also been back and forth on the highway for about an 90 mile trip. The tires are a little bit more noise than the stock tires, but in my opinion it is not that noticeable. To me it is worth is to have safer tires for the snow and rain. They are also very good on dry pavement.
