I keep looking at my local store...they have a million Hot Wheels, but no Maverick so far. Did pick up a Back to the Future DeLorean the other day though.

Well, my two Hot Wheels Mav's came this week...

I have spent a good part of this weekend, converting one into a mini-me of "Blu"...

Cool...

I had to "Grind-off" that Rear Spoiler and Removed the Roll Bars from the rear window and bed.
The Greenlight Transit wheels and tires, fit just fine!!
Only downside Is that, most Aftermarket touch up paints don't match up... It should be a little. "Bluer"..

This whole hot wheel thing is starting to feel a lot like the order process for our actual Mavericks. If you want one now, you are going to pay thousands (of cents) in ADM, otherwise you have to wait for them to come in at the dealer (aka Walmart/Target)

Since I've been collecting for fifteen years, I will definitely be making special trips until I find one. But the beauty of it is I won't be looking just for this one, I'll also be looking for others that peak my interest in the batch that it's in. I wonder how desired it's gonna be. Will it be one of those castings that gets scalped or will be what we call a "pegwarmer" which is a casting that sells very slowly and warms the pegs for a very long time.

I have not seen any in my local stores yet. eBay wants too much for shipping but I bought one a few days ago on Wheelcollectorsllc for just $9.68 with shipping.

Once I get a few more, if I can find someone locally that is good at it, I'd love to have one repainted in my truck's Terrain color.

I hope they come out with other years including the 2024 and drop the custom look and just make them look like our daily drivers

me too. it'll take matchbox to do that though... hot wheels is all about the customization.

I picked up a few at a WalMart on my way home from work yesterday!! $1.29 each... Got 1 for a buddy of mine that also has a Maverick. I opened 1 and 1 unopened.

I asked him about it here and on facebook too. Never got an answer so its likely just a 1 off. 3d printed and properly painted body. everything else looks touched up. it could definitely be imitated with a high detail 3d printer.
