Hey MTC members,

The rain guards have arrived. These are in-channel.The wind deflectors are crafted from impact-resistant PP plastic, tough and long-lasting.They can withstand harsh weather conditions, including heavy rain and snow. Moreover, they are UV-resistant, which can reduce glare caused by sunlight. Colored materials also provide additional protection against glare.

The weather shields are designed to protect from rain, snow, and other debris. By acting as a shield, they prevent water from obscuring the rearview mirror’s surface, which can improve visibility during inclement weather and enhance driving safety.

Our in-channel window visors are easy to install without the need for drilling. They feature an in-channel design that not only ensures a more secure installation but also reduces wind noise. Additionally, they come with double-sided tape for direct sticking and firm fixation. We also provide an installation video for your reference. Note: Low temperatures (below 10°C/50°F) can weaken the adhesive strength. If necessary, use a hair dryer to enhance adhesion. Avoid exposure to water for 24 hours after applying the tape.

Note:Will not obstruct the line of sight

Looks like they listened and in their version and trimmed off in channel side view mirror controversy. That works.

Yeah.In order to avoid obstructing the line of sight, we have redesigned the rearview mirror section.

We are also concerned about the issue of 3M adhesive not being strong enough. Therefore, we are equipped with adhesive aids and 8 buckles. The buckle is also installed on the windshield to prevent it from falling off.

I've been wanting to swap out my rain guards for a while now for safety reasons. My current guards block quite a few inches of view in the side mirrors. Only wanting in-channel style, these were the only ones available at the time, until now. @Maxzina

released rain guards that are notably thinner in that area. Looking forward to the install and safety features. However, it's just too cold, even in the garage for the double sided tape to adhere properly. A hair dryer could would work in this case, but doesn't help me personally stay warm. Clips are also provided to secure them in the channel.
It won't be too long, but I wanted to share just in case others feel the same way about theirs.

@Maxzina any notes/testing on how the metal clips interact with window tint?
Our metal clip is shaped like a ladder, with a small head and a large head. By inserting the small part of the head, it can hold up. We have taken a close-up shot of how to install the metal clip on another car model based on the specific principle. You can view this screenshot specifically.

Removed my EGR in-channels tonight and installed the Maxzina's. I like that the front have 3m tape, as the EGR's don't, and when the front window is cracked open at any speed where the glass touches the plastic visors the rattle off and on. Drives me bat shit crazy, hopefully these Maxzina's don't since they have 3m tape to hold em tight to the rubber window seal.

Update: I Installed them in the garage with the heater going at 70f tonight.

Install was straightforward and easy, I removed the EGR visors, cleaned the rubber weather stripping with isopropyl alcohol, then installed the Maxzina's. I do like how the fronts are narrower at the lower front, not blocking the outside rear view mirrors. As the EGR version did did block a portion.

I'll report back whether or not these rattle at highway speeds like the EGRs did against the glass when cracked an inch or two!

I do like that it looks that these do not sit on the outer window trim or the EGRs did and required a clear protective tape on the bottom to keep from scratching it.

They look good! Planning to install mine tomorrow as well. Did you use the clips? If so, is there as inner/outer side. Any issues removing the EGR's, it's been a while since I installed them.

No, noway in hell would install those thin metal clips in the rubber channel. To much chance they may or may not move over time and slice up the window rubber channel.

The EGR visors fronts slid right out, the rears I gently prayed the with my hands the rubber window trim from the tape side, and they slid right out as well. Took about 7 minutes start to finish including cleaning the channels again with isopropyl alcohol.

Update, these are nice and solid, especially the fronts. The 3m tape holds well, no chatter against the glass like the EGR'S with the window cracked open a inch or two. Still great after a week and 2 handwashes.

I put my EGR's back in the box, if you are to purchase the EGR in-channels I would highly recommend installing some 3M tape on them to keep the fronts from chattering against the glass.

These are keepers.

Update: weather improved today, so I installed @Maxzina 's rain guards. Looking forward to actually being able to see into the passenger side mirror for a change.
