First Edition Maverick Production and Scheduling Update

If you didn't catch it last night on my live stream, I mentioned that the First Edition will need to get scheduled in the 22MY production and that they will build them all. I also stated that Ford will probably make sure they all get scheduled in a certain week. Looks like that might be this week.

I am scheduled for 21st this month for my A51 FE, and although its been a long wait (ordered in June) it will all be worth it

I hope so. Trying to keep my miles below 20k on my Ranger and keep some equity in it...and hopefully interest rates don't skyrocket before people can get them. If I was a name actor, I wouldn't care...but not there yet. lol

I hope your right, mine was ordered August 20, and I haven’t received an email with a build date. Lariat FE, Rapid Red, Hybrid, Luxury Package, 360 and mud flaps.

I sure hope so tomorrow will be exactly 8 months since my order was confirmed!

I was all set to change my signature to the " 8 month cricket club" tomorrow.

Now I got my hopes up again. But just like Lucy FoMoCo will pull it away at the last moment.

I hope this is what happens. After watching the live stream last night, I was thinking the worst and if they were built all at once it would August.

The thing I don't get is - why all of a sudden are there chips available for these chip-hungry First Editions?

Thanks Tim I really appreciate you sharing that info. Its interesting that Ford can pipe in on this forum - "Hey Were glad you are excited about getting your truck" but as far as communication about actual timelines, production info, wait times ......... crickets. Your information actually gives a bit of hope that "someday" we might get our orders.

Mine had bounced from Feb 20 delivery to May 23 for the chip delay. Today it went to built and scheduled to arrive early March!
First Edition carbonized gray, ordered in July. January 17 build week.

If Ford is doing this for all the 1st Edition Mavericks, then I'm guessing that the regular monthly allocations that dealerships receive won't matter? So if Ford can schedule all the 1st Editions regardless of when it was ordered why can't they schedule remaining June and July orders regardless of dealership allocations?

Wow that's what you have to add ? Are you an unpaid intern ? Everyone here would love for Ford to provide ANY info on production, wait times, projected scheduling, chip shortage, Additional ADM, you know all the things our dealers didn't tell us when we ordered - Mine said Id have my truck Nov - December at the latest still don't even have a build date from August . With that "excitement" you mention there is also the "frustration" that Ford has virtually no communication to its customers ( and for me a stockholder among a big group here ) How about going back to the "Maverick Team" and let them know that many folks are disappointed in the way communication or the lack of is being handled. And for God's sake, please, in your " Official Ford Account " change the name of Mavrick to Maverick which is actually the name of the product this forum is following.

I contacted Ford last week to complain. After being put on hold for 10 minutes. I was told that I would be getting a email soon for my build date. It all depends how soon that soon is.
