i have the EXACT same issue, its bothered me from day one but i wasn't able to produce a leak despite showering it with water continuously and assumed they would not address it because of that.
but it does bother me much, both on an aesthetic level (i know, i know, its a truck! but its MY truck)...
^^ here you go
i should also mention, prior to tightening, there is fair amount of leeway in the pivoting so you have some options for positioning angle.
assembly went something like this...
it was an easy job after i figured out the parts,
the spare hardware store part i had already - had to cut with a wheel and paint...

i used to do the front windshield in my 68 chevy stepside that had no mount location on the front bumber, but here in cali thats not legal, had to pay a couple tickets for it and eventually verify installation with lapd. requirement is that it must be on bumber.
For anyone interested in both not getting tickets (if the case in your state) and also not drilling, i cut a piece of unistrut and mounted my front plate from the undercarriage, making use of the winching hole, going for a similar "offset" theme as the rear...
having driven one around for the last few weeks now, i can attest to this, it is much smaller than my neighbors trucks, they don't even need to be side by side to gauge it, but i have to say it does not "feel" small by any means when you're up on it.
i drove a tiny truck when i was in college (a...
i dunno, it's always a bit odd to me that people are so quick to attack businesses for trying to make a profit. this is capitalism, straight up, no one is forcing anyone to buy anything at any price. love it or leave it
as for markups, i got my window sticker from ford long before the truck was...
I recently got an ANYCUBIC VYPER as my first printer and so far it has worked very well and i am happy with it. Printed with a variety of filaments and no major troubles other than fiddling with a few temp changes
build quality seems solid and a fair price, easy to use interface with a dedicated...
not a peep? did you get your initial order confirmation? the gap between getting that and any news of it moving into production was eternal, but it did eventually happen for me (i ordered in June).
i got mine delivered last week, i picked up on saturday, and i could not be more thrilled!
and...
Well, I didnt think this day would come but its here, its finally here, dont ever give up hope my friends!
and somehow only going to take as little as a week and a half to be delivered?!?
today is a good day
anyone seeing Ford's tracking site down today? upon entering vin/order #s it returns to same page, but without fields completed :( and no indication of what went wrong.
UPDATE: my 21st build date had gotten pushed to 28th, checked the site this AM and saw that my FE had moved into "In Production" status! Hard not to get too excited about the possibility of seeing my new ride before the end of the world occurs.
UPDATE: So I did end up getting this resolved at Ford, it cost about as much as I expected, about $1000, which is just stupid IMO to get my radio going again, but coming to accept that this is just the way thing go now-a-days with all the integrated systems. I miss the days of replacing my own...
i also just got an email and got bumped. i am now at feb 21. while its disappointing, i am also happy to just know that there is SOMETHING happening ;)
