50 mpg TANK!!
And averaging just over 48 mpg on my 6000 life with the Mav First Edition Hybrid.
Most miles are my 30 mile each way commute. Half suburban and half freeway with heavy traffic.
I loved the idea of a 40 mpg commuter when I ordered. Iām THRILLED to be doing much better in real life!!
Ordered July 10 and the wait was so longā¦ but worth it!!
I love the size and styling of this truck. And believe itās a great value.
Have only driven it a day, but itās comfortable and smooth. While still being a truck.
Saw both vehicles āin the wildā in last couple weeks. No doubt the Mav is truck and the Santa Cruz something else.
The taillights going across the tailgate make the back even less truck like.
For me it was cost and gas mileage, but much prefer the Mav styling as well.
Mine had bounced from Feb 20 delivery to May 23 for the chip delay. Today it went to built and scheduled to arrive early March!
First Edition carbonized gray, ordered in July. January 17 build week.
Hybrid First Edition ordered in July. Production week was scheduled Jan 17. On the 17th email said schedule was bumped up to Jan 10. Then was part of the group that had estimated delivery bumped from late Feb to May for the chip delay.
ā¦today email says built and delivery first half of March!
I got my 1/17 build date last week, and saw a number of 1/10 builds posted. Interesting they are still scheduling for those days. Maybe the supplies are showing up now.
