My FX4 Maverick had the stock Perilli tires. They were down to the wear mark at 17,000 miles. They were rotated properly, and all wore evenly. Thanks PA hills and Tar and Chipped roads.

I replaced them with WildPeak A/T trails that were the same size as stock. I just replaced them at 32,000 miles. If it wasn't the beginning of winter, I would have gone another 2 or 3,000. This is the most I have ever gotten out of a tire in my 30 years of driving. Did I mention that SW PA roads are terrible on tires.

Jus though I would share if anyone was wondering their wear life.

Did you notice any mpg difference between the Trails and the Pirelli's?

My service guy at the Ford Dealership was just informing me that my WildPeak A/T were a little cupped at just 20k miles. Thats disappointing to hear considering I rotate them every 5k with oil changes. Also they can be a little noisy. That being said, I do like the look. Not sure what I'll do when they're worn out.

There are quite a few Wildpeak reviewers on YouTube who have talked about getting 40K or even 50K life on them, in part because they start with a deep tread. But there are 3 or 5 different types of Wildpeak. I think the AT is different than the AT3W that came on some Mavericks, and there are other Wildpeak variants.

I've heard a lot good things about this tire. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Those seem like extraordinarily low figures.
Rural western PA is very hilly and pretty much everywhere you go besides highways is tar and chipped. You spray the pavement with a layer of hot tar then cover with a layer of pea gravel. I drive country roads for most of my commute to work. Basically, I am driving on close to gravel everywhere.

They are very deep. That helped get double the miles from the stock tires.

Got my Maverick in November of 23 and immediately installed the Falken Wildpeaks (245/65-17) for my first winter here in Colorado. Performed like a tank last winter and rode them all this summer. I am sure the tread depth is down some as I have lost a little grip this winter but still performing nicely so far. Plan is to ride them next summer and then reassess for the winter of 25. I am at 15000 miles right now. Would love to get a third winter out of them but not holding my breath. regards

Forgot to mention, I'm getting a reliable 28MPG in the mountains.

Currently 5 different Wildpeaks being offered, 6 if you count the AT3W's that came on Mavericks.

I got 32k on my AT Trails, which were the tire shop version not the stock ones, and was disappointed with the mileage. They advertise a 65k warranty. I have them sent in for warranty evaluation right now actually.
