Just made the first addition to my truck after seeing this post on the forum.

Super happy with how it came out. I decided to remove the original tie-down points and make the rails the full length of the rail-well. I can move the old ones elsewhere on the bed, and I wanted to use the full length so I can do something like this in the future.

Where did you get the end caps? I made some of these out of some shallow aluminum strut when I was working in a fab shop; they turned out alright but yours look super clean, and the end caps really give them an OEM finish.

Search for strut channel end cap
Amazon, home depot, almost anywhere. Just be sure to get the correct size and color you want.

Got them on amazon. Not "cheap" but I didn't need many so ~90c per cap wasn't bad. You can certainly save more per piece if you buy a larger quantity.

Nice. I think I was eyeballing these before I knew what trim of Maverick I was getting. E-track also seemed like a possibility.

I had some extra E-track, so I used that. The mounting holes don't line up with the factory threads, so you have to improvise a little if you have pre-drilled E-track.

Putting the holes "Up" and not needing the eyelets is the way.
Gives you 20 connection points per side and nothing else to buy, lose, or adjust.

And no pokey things poking out.

But painting is nice. Good job on that.
