Very nice. I plan to put the rocker stickers on mine.. Don't know how long they will last but need a splash of something..

I think you need a touch of the green on the grill. Just to round it all out a bit.

What did you do for the side vents? The whole thing or just the chrome? Paint or plastidip?

Did you order the graphics from somewhere or was this all DIY? I'm hoping to find someplace that might create something for me in a dark Hunter Green color as a way to bring out some of the green shades on a Cactus Gray Maverick.

Don't hate it..
...But at least for me, as a self-proclaimed Ford enthusiast, it doesn't look remotely OEM, which I would suspect would be part of the objective if they are calling it an "STX".
  • STX decal is the correct font, but they were never monochromatic. They were also never green; usually a red/black combo. In fact, I don't recall a whole lot of green on any late-model Ford products.
  • The STX on Ford's other trucks have wheels from a higher trim. Ford also has a thing for the "snowflake" style and thick spokes, so the wheels with the thin, identical spoke design scream "aftermarket" to me.
  • The STX on Ford's other trucks have different color bumpers than the XL. Ranger receiving Carbon Black, F-150 is body color, and Super Duty has chrome.
  • The STX on the Ranger and F-150 get fog lights.
  • Other than the bed liner, the rest of the mods aren't really things that are likely to appear on an OEM trim line.
To each their own, but overall, to me it's like putting "LOBO" on your F-150, "Cheyenne" on your Silverado, or "Jazz" on your Honda Fit.

Following Ford's theme with the Ranger, F-150, and Super Duty STX's, my iteration of a Maverick XL STX Appearance Package would be:
  • Install the OEM "STX" bedside decals from the Ranger
  • Install the OEM 17" alloy wheels that come standard on the XLT hybrid and EcoBoost FWD.
  • Paint the unpainted part of the front bumper to match the body, except the tow hook blanks
  • Paint the unpainted part of the rear bumper to match the body, except the top part where you'd step
  • Install DOT LED cube fog lights, but as an homage to the first-gen Super Duty, mount them in the lower grill opening, on either side of the front license plate bracket.

Hence the title “creates his own”

Blue and Green accents for the Alto Blue too....and just added the Aqua Blue domed lettering on the tailgate today too (need to get better pics - looks darker in person, think it's my white garage door).
