I ordered a maverick xl hybrid in September 2022 with plans to put one of my employees in it for a service truck. After 18 months I took delivery last week and momma decided she wanted to sell her 300s and drive the Maverick. Thats fine with me because it gives me and excuse to start modifying it with fun new parts.
It just hit 1000 miles and this is what I’ve done so far.

mabbett mud flaps

Smartliner floor liners

LINE-X bed liner

Yitamotor hard bed cover

RTX Dakar satin bronze black edge wheels 17x18 +35 offset. 2” black splined lug nuts.

I used my Ford points for a set of Carhart seat covers.

CDEFG cup holders for front and rear from Amazon

My thoughts on the upgrades so far:
The Carhart seat covers are “ok” for the $100 I paid but I would have been seriously disappointed if I had paid full price at $300. I like the material but the fit and look is just ok.

I would like to find a better cup holder for the rear. The ones I bought will only fit a can or bottle of water. The front are fine size because the Ford cup holders hold larger cups like Yeti tumblers. I am hoping for some suggestions on better rear cup holders???

Other than that I have nothing negative to say about the truck or upgrades so far.

I really like the wheels. They make the truck stand out as different from any of the other mavericks I have seen. I reused the stock continental tires on the new wheels and I am happy with the way they look.
The offset is exactly what I wanted. Just enough to reach the edge of the fender without sticking out.
Now I just need to wash it and ceramic coat it.

Hey Jon.

Is this one of those "Happy Wife, happy life" moments. Seems to have brought you some happiness too with all those mods.

Perhaps one of the next mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Two styles/sizes available:

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Glossy) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($5 delivered)

Maverick Truck Club Decal (Transfer) | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions ($6 delivered)

I bought this cupholfer that fits (pun intended) into the FITS slot on the back of the console. I like it a lot since it can hold wider water bottles.

The wheels look really good. With the stock tires on those rims, that truck is begging to be slammed. I see what you mean about the seat covers. They look like a universal fit as opposed to a custom fit. But, they'll do the job and don't look too bad. Congrats on your new ride. (y)

Weathertech makes a device that has multiple size cups that stack together. They will accommodate a bottle of Gatorade. They fit into the cup holder. The they are high enough where the bottle stays in unless the bottle is very tall.

Nice pics! To what you have done, I would add a tailgate damper and inside, a black trim panel/bezel around the audio controls.

The latter breaks up the light blue of the upper dash and visually mates the audio panel with the controls below.

If you plan to haul garden, nursery supplies and straw etc. I would add the Mabett tailgate hole cover to keep debris out of the tailgate cavity that will hold moisture and rust.

Give your Mav a couple thou miles to break in the hybrid electrical components and gain smoothness. You will love the mpg.

You’re not alone. Momma took my XLT too! She lets me drive it when I’m good.

I've added dozens of accessories to my Maverick Hybrid, SIBL, mudflaps, WeatherTech floor mats, etc, etc, etc Without doubt the most useful item were the seat covers from Amazon (Oasis Auto OS-003 (choose your color) Seat Covers. They look like leather but are letterette, they're padded and make the seat 2 to 3 times more comfortable...and very sharp. 2 years plus old and still look like the day I put them on...highly recommend. Best bargain of any thing I've added - $79.99

I do agree that it would look good lowered but I plan to eventually use it as a work truck so I will probably end up sticking with the factory height.
