Happy with the outcome 🤙🏼

Rim size/Brand: Reika Wheel 17
TireBrand: Nitto Terra Grappler g2 size 245/70/17
Loaded strut Lift kit from Rough Country
Decal design was made by my wife

Rough country recommends the max tire size should be 245/70/17 with 2” lift without rubbing. Well that’s a lie, I spent about 30mins trimming the inner liner firewall, as you can see in the picture. I had to use some black spray paint primer for it to blend in. But I’m really happy with the result I wouldn’t change nothing.

Next mod should be the Ford grill.

I really like the wheels and those meaty tires! Great choice and fill up the wells perfectly with the lift. I also like the wife’s graphics! Well done!

See, I've read something about that before too! (Something about the 17" tires scraping) I want to lift my BAP (whenever it arrives), but what I'm worried about is the scraping of the tires because the BAP comes with 225/60R18's. If a 2 inch lift isn't truly enough for 17-inch tires, it's probably definitely not going to cut it for 18-inch tires.

Rim size will have nothing to do with tires rubbing. Assuming same offset and tire height. A 30" tall tire is 30" tall on a 17 or 18 inch wheel.

I guess that makes sense - the aspect ratio is adjusted for the room size to maintain a standard 30" height. So, it would only be a problem if I went with taller tires on the 18" rims...

Thanks!

They won't rub with 245/70R17 tires on the stock wheels. Most aftermarket wheels have a similar or greater offset and are wider bringing the inside of the tire closer to the fender liner. I have run the same tire on a 17x7.5" wheel with a 35mm offset and it rubbed whereas that same tire on OEM 17x7 wheels with a 37.5mm offset doesn't rub at all.

Was it front and rear lift or just front? Did you install the lift kit yourself? Assuming you used the Bronco Sport Loaded struts?

Looks great! Does the suspension make any noise? smooth ride? I installed an adjustable coilover lift in the front and it constantly sounds like something is loose... even though it isn't

Just pay attention to your cv axles I hear a lot of people complain about their axles failing after lifting their Mavs.

It was front and back and I took it to get the lift done

Which roof rack is that you’re running?! Seems like one of the lower profile ones I’ve seen

your 18" should fit fine with no rubbing.
The photo below is 265/60/18 on stock suspension, no rubbing

Looks pretty good, but I'm not a fan of (most) bed racks.
