10k miles in almost 7 months kinda hurts, but I love driving this truck! Getting more and more compliments on 'The Wolf' daily!

-Tinted all windows to 30%, windshield/back glass ceramic 70%.
-Just got The bed cover and roof extension/spoiler on.
-Didn't like the standard taillights, so I put blackout LEDs in (careful buying aftermarket for 2025s, these gave me some problems upon install).

Shopping for lowering springs, cold air intakes, thermal exhausts, and ECU chips for extra power. Waiting for Ford to drop the 2026 300t upgrade so I can get the mustang turbo. Then for dyno/tune!!!

Tails look great, I'd like to eliminate some of the Red on the rear. But had heard of similar 2025 issues/concerns. And...the $$$.

Clear or maybe even Black front marker lights may look good on that Gray. (The Orange on Blue really bugged me on mine.)

Do you haul that moto in the Lobo? That'd look good in back.
But you probably don't need to haul a street-sport bike around, like I do my offroad moto to the trailheads. :)

Let us know how that 300T kit works...
If that turbo can do ~25 psi from ~3,000 RPM to red line...I could be interested.
I think the mid-range/top end is too weak on the Mav.
I'd really like the mid-range to hit like my FocuST.

Mostly I want some tuning options for the '25 2.0L... I think I could be happy with a FMIC and good 91 tune. Keep the charge temps cooler (and consistent) for better peak boost targeting.

--------

I'm 5 months in on mine, ~4800 miles. Just did my 2nd oil change yesterday.
I'm not in love, but still really enjoy the Lobo. If it had a 6MT, I'd prob otherwise be in love. Lobo should have had a manual option. But I've learned to tolerate the auto.. only because it has Manual mode and paddle shifters, and Lobo mode. I don't know if I could stick with it if it were an 8spd auto-only.

What issues did you have with the tail lights? Thinking of getting those.

What problems did you have with the install? I’m looking to get a different set of tail lights myself. Did you have to cut wires or anything?

For the 2025 refresh, they changed the brake light wiring.

2022-24 has both brake light bulbs powered together from the same wire, but 2025 has separate wires for the top and bottom brake light sections.

For those asking about the taillights, they fit perfectly. The issue is that the wire harness is swapped backwards on 2025 Mavericks (left to right and vice versa). The only difference is the "guide-rails" for the plug are backwards. Only required change is removing the plastic guide rail so it can plug in (heated up a knife and cut it off completely). Everything else works fine with the new taillights!
Picture is the wire harness for reference. The off-angle guide rails are what's swapped sides on 2025 models. Easy fix

I agree with the manual option, the turn-knob shifter is my least favorite thing on the truck.

Taillights are awesome, didn't cost too much, and only had the small snag on install (seperate comment on the exact issue).

The CB100R is my roommates bike, and he loves having someone that can haul it as a backup. He's got a 2024 Hyundai Elantra N that also does laps around the Lobo 😂

The mid-range power is why im looking for turbo and power options. Lobo is great in 1st and 2nd gear, but loses out on everything above it. Need better airflow, more power, and some sort of octane boost to be content with performance.

Im still super jealous of your Velocity Blue. Thats the color I wanted, but couldn't wait after I found the grey one I have now!!!

I'm also keen on the Hyundai 'N' models.. Since Ford quit making hot hatches, and manual trans options. I'd still prob go for a Toyota GR Corolla first though. :D

The color thing is funny. When I had a Black FocuST, I wanted the Gray (or Nitrous Blue of the RS).

I still have a thing for the Gray and Black Lobos, but really am happy with my Blue. Only color I wouldn't have bought was White. But, if there were an Eruption Green (and Lobo came in that color), I would have the Green. :)

On the tuning side, I'm really curious to see what the DI+PI combo can do on ethanol. E50, or more? My FoST loved ethanol. Especially when timing is adjusted to match. I'm at higher elevation, so any off-boost responsiveness and gains are very welcome. Esp at 9k feet +.

Twin Truck here - I get it. July 9 is when I got mine. Almost 8K miles, but I have like a 40 mile one way commute.

These look really good all blacked out like that. I would also black out the 3rd brake light for a complete look.
