Just for fun -- what's everyone's age and occupation?

Good afternoon - I am 54 and live in north central FL. I am director of sales for North America for a fire apparatus manufacturer.

In my younger years, I owned a total of five Ford Rangers and loved them. Three were purchased used and two were purchased new. The last one I had was a 1996 king cab that I purchased new. I also own a 2008 F150 king cab that my son drives.

I have been wanting to purchase a vehicle for the past couple of years but just cannot bring myself to pay $50-60K+ for a new truck. I have a company vehicle and my wife has a 2018 Ford Expedition Limited.

The Maverick will be a weekend runaround vehicle for me. The pricing is what originally appealed to me. Once I started doing my research, I found that I was intrigued by the fact that I could buy a new truck with most of the features I wanted for less than $30K, and as they say, I was hooked.

I missed the MY2022 order by procrastinating and trying to decide if I wanted hybrid or gas. The folks on this site have shared lots and lots of incredibly valuable information since I've joined, and I have actually been able to test drive a hybrid locally.

On SEP 15, I placed my MY2023 order for an Atlas Blue Metallic XLT Hybrid / Luxury package / CoPilot 360 / Power Moon Roof / Remote start System and Floor liners.

And now I anxiously await delivery ...

Hi Gang I am 68 and fortunately I retired February 2020 just before the Big P hit. My background was in SCM and I hold a real estate license to keep me busy . Now I wait for a Maverick , I ordered a XL Hybrid with no options in Cactus Grey . Once in my hands gonna lower it and add some wheels . If I could only find Porsche style wheels to fit
