I became a “Computerized Distinguished Armored Technician”, (AKA Jedi Tanker), then was on Recruiting duty from 1989-1992 and “Put ‘Em in Boots”. Finished as a Jedi Tanker.

Thanks for your service, hope your injuries weren't too horrible.I only did four years but spent over a quarter of that in warzones with the 10th Mountain or 18th Airborne. I figured after surviving two warzones with only being hit broadside by a truck being my largest injury, I should quit while I was ahead.

I served during the longest stretch of time since WW1 that the US was not at war and/or involved in a "police action" anywhere around the globe... So I guess we did our job - keeping the peace. LOL
