Congrats! I hope it's everything you want and need. My greatest fear is that mine will finally come in and I'll be unhappy with it. A test drive only get's you the partial story.

I got my XL trading in a 2003 Toyota I bought in 2005, so even as a budget truck it was an awesome upgrade. Super happy with it, can't wait to get my Hybrid Lariat.

Didn't even drive it before I bought it. Drove 8 hours to get it, got to sit in it and look at it, then bought it. 0 regrets. Was in hog heaven on the 8 hour ride back. Prior to buying, I saw 2 up close, and never got to sit in or drive one.

If you are coming from a luxury vehicle, you may have some disappointment. If you expect a Ford F-350 Platinum interior, you will be disappointed. Otherwise, you should enjoy.

I’ve only seen 4 in the wild. That’ll change soon. My Ford dealer told me today that there are serveral Maverick orders coming in later this month… including mine.

My last Ford truck was a 1999 Ranger, manual trans. No frills except for AC.

I had a 97 ranger, that I feel asleep when commuting between 2 jobs back in 2006. Rolled it and totaled it, 2 months before it was paid off. Liability only insurance, it sucked to make payments on nothing. I loved that truck, the Maverick gives me that same love!

Ouch. Glad you were ok. My Ranger was rear ended by a young lady in a popular Japanese import texting her mom. I was stopped at the red light at the time. I saw her coming at me so I left off the brake. The truck went into the shop to repair the damage and I sold it shortly thereafter at a good price.

As of this morning the rail car with my Maverick is in Ohio! I live in Va. Getting closer. Will it make the estimated Oct. 24 delivery date?

Update…

As of this morning the rail car with my Maverick is in Ohio! I live in Va. Getting closer. Will it make the estimated Oct. 24 delivery date?

If that were me, I'd go camp out at the Petersburg rail yard and wait for my Mav. Woohoo!!!
