Where I live, Verizon is no better than the other two carriers. And quite often, it's worse. You may get a VZW signal, but you often can't do anything with it.
YMMV

Big drop in VZW quality since they went to 5G. I especially like it when I'm in the middle of a major East Coast city, well over a million people, and I can't get any data and calls drop.

I use my Xm radio thru my iPhone. It works great. Never a problem.
