XLT Seat Durability

Hey guys,

I've got a lariat lux ECO on order but will take a long time before i see it. I recently found a dealer that I can snag an XLT lux Hybrid in a couple months... The only thing holding us back on this is the cloth seats of the XLT. How have the longevity of these seats been for everyone? Anyone find that they stain easy? For those who have dogs, how do they hold up with hair and muddy paws? I'd likely get a seat cover...but does anyone have any experience without one?

Soak the seats down with spray cans of scotchgard stain blocker, and get seat covers. You got dogs or crumb snatchers?? , then buy one of these covers made by Dickies from Walmart for the rear seat. Perfect for filthy nasty kids, and dogs with muddy paws. Easily removed and run through the wash. My kids are all hot messes. I plan on scotch guarding all my fabrics on the XLT I ordered and putting that very cover on the back seat. It appears to be the same heavy duty material my Dickies work pants are made of.

Sure it doesnt have a cutout for a folding armrest, but my kids dont need that, and neither will a dog. Its just something for the kids to fight over and break, or spill drinks in. Dickies makes nice leatherette bucket seat front covers designed to work with seat side airbags too. Price wont break the bank either. Rear cover is I think $30

I don’t know about you , but when I drive my dog, just he & I , he is in the front seat ! I need a slip-on front seat cover easy to put on & take off , anyone know of a good one ? Lariat , AWD, ?build week may 9 , I hope, ordered Aug 25

Do them low back front covers come with matching covers for the headrests? I like that rear cover for dogs that you got. Can you post up pix of how they fit on your maverick.

Yes. Matching headrest covers are included.
Rear seat cover is very durable and there are velcro lined slots for seat belts to pass thru. I believe that it also comes with a lifetime warranty.
