I placed the order for a Carbonized Gray Maverick XLT 2.0 engine with 360 option, on November 9th but it went in on November 12th. In January I called the dealer and asked if there was anything to hurry the process along. The manager called me back and said he was able to get us a February 11th build date. We then got an email from Ford stating that the build date was moved up to February 7th. It took 3 weeks of transportation to get to Crestview FL. My wife and I received a call this morning about 10 AM stating that the delivery truck had just rolled onto the lot with our Maverick. We went up and got it about 1 PM. We paid MSRP plus $1,395 for some kind of special paint treatment package and a $900 processing fee. That was as good a deal as we could find. The truck has lots of power, rides smoothly, and is fairly quiet. Adaptive cruise control did not come with the 360 option and I was disappointed to find this out after I picked up the truck. I feel that it is the best deal in America if you can get it near MSRP. If you want a high-end luxury car, then you need to go buy one. The new Maverick is great for basic transportation.

We have had the Maverick for a few weeks now and have put about 1000 miles on it. I towed a small trailer with a lawn tractor on it from Fort Walton Beach to Jacksonville. It got 23 mpg. We drove down Hwy A1A to Daytona and back without the trailer and got 36 mpg. This is the 2.0 eco with 2 wheel drive. I love this truck. It gets great gas mileage if it's driven conservatively and it has lots of power if you need it. I didn't need the 4WD as my wife drives a Subaru Ascent AWD with a 5000 lb towing rating. We use the Maverick as a second car, however, it rides so nice we may use it as our everyday driver. We love the carbonized gray color and we ordered a black tri-fold bed cover from Amazon. I am anxious to see how well it fits and how well it holds up. It cost less than $250.
