XL vs XLT

Personally, I would not spend any more for a toad than the XL. The trucks themselves depreciate equally. But the options that come on the higher trims depreciate faster.

If I were buying again, I would get another XL with CP360, which gives you a larger spare tire on the Hybrid, power mirrors and a bunch of safety features like blind spot warning in the mirrors, etc.

But I paid cash and price was a factor in my decision. Get the trim level & options you want, if money's no object.

I bought a '22XLT and added tow hitch($100??? no brainerand I will probably never tow anything) cruise and tilt-those are the only things I have to have -less tech/bells/whistles is better for me.Their "all weather mats" SUCK

I think the part of "on my Mustang" has more to do with it, then just the Wheels..
Plus that "Grabber" Blue has a lot to do also.
I am a "Dog" guy, but sorry about your cat... A little buddy, is still a little buddy..

For 2025, the difference between XLT+Lux and Lariat is $6,400 but that is FWD v AWD. If you go XLT+Lux AWD the difference is $4,100

It was closer for me because I bought my 2024 on the last day of 2024. I compared Only My Lariat window sticker, the only Lariat they had, to three differently equipped XLT's and four XL's
They Had four Tremors but I didn't want that. I think those three 2024 Tremors were all like,
$41,900 to 43,900

Oh, They had a used 2023 lariat AWD Eco with 22,000 miles for $28,900, a blue one, inside and out.
I sat in it, smelled like stale cigarette's.
I looked down at the middle of the drivers seat, There It was a full on burn though cigarette hole.
Not an Option.

I don’t believe the XLT is worth it. Unless of course you want it as a gateway to the packages you can’t get on the XL.

But to me, the XL is a great deal if you add CP360, trailer hitch, and a bed liner. Also swap out the steelies for a set of wheels at Discount Tire for $600 or less, like I did. If you do this, there’s no need for an XLT.
