So I ordered a hybrid Mav back in June, and it's scheduled for production next month.
I asked the dealer about using the X-Plan back in July, and they said they're not sure yet and will address the issue later.
Last month, before the price increase, I asked if I'll be able to use the X-Plan (which I'm eligible for) and they said they'll be able to apply it.
I just reached out to the dealer to clarify if the X Plan pricing would be based on the pre-price increase pricing, and they said prices are determined at the time of invoice, not order so they wouldn't be able to see what the price is until February.
Does anyone know if this means the price the dealer will get in February will be the pre-price increase X-Plan pricing, or the post-price increase X-Plan pricing? Or is this something the dealer can actually see now/have control over?
For what it's worth, when I placed the order back in June, I signed an order preview form which listed the MSRP at the time..
Thank you for your input!

you should have price protection based on the original order date/pricing. Once the dealer receives the truck they should adjust the pricing based on the original order date; that's what i was told by the sales manager i'm dealing with. I also put down a deposit so i have the date of that as well.

You signed the order preview form with the dealerships name on the top? You got a copy? I'm no lawyer, but I believe that what you have is a contract. Got receipt of your deposit? That's part of that contract.

The X Plan pricing is on bottom of invoice, as is A/Z pricing and
D plan = dealer employee.

When I called Ford, the lady was not sure what price the invoice would say. Since then in the 'x-plan membership' thread someone posted the figure and it was the higher price.

Very curious if anyone has something else to add but one of the x-plan forms wanted a VIN, which is not possible. Not sure how others get the x-plan price ahead of time except for the Ford Partners or perhaps previously bought with a x-plan pin, idk. I'm DAV and originally applied for owning Ford shares and could have had a second pin but said no thank you.

Will come back and add the link:

Thank you - this is a very helpful thread. So it sounds like I'll have to see what the dealer invoice says.
Do you have any ideas on the likelihood of the following outcomes? As far as I know the dealer will accept X-Plan.
1. Option of pre-price increase MSRP or pre-price increase X-Plan pricing
2. Option of pre-price increase MSRP or post-price increase X-Plan pricing
3. Option of post-price increase MSRP or post-price increase X-Plan pricing (dealer doesn't honor price protection at all)

Depends on their fees. The x-plan limits Doc fee to $100.
