X Plan pricing after submitting order

I recently discovered that my employer has X Plan. I put in my order back in November for my Mav. Is it possible to add X Plan now / when the car arrives or would I have had to have done it back when I ordered? The FAQ guidance on the X Plan website seems a bit unclear

I have A plan and you just need the PIN number on delivery I think. That’s what happened in 2017 when I bought the last Ford.

Can change to x plan but will probably be at the latest pricing. I wouldn't wait. May have to be purchased under employers name

I used x plan after but lost price protection from Aug last year

Check with your dealership because not all of them accept x plan and they are not required to.

Cool thanks for the advice all! Hoping dealer sticks to original MSRP in which case I don't really care too much either way.

Another dealer near me offered a non-Lux Lariat for $10k over MSRP recently. They're definitely incentivized to try and make the "to order" sales fall through so they can jack the price up.
