This feels sacrilegious.......but, there's no better place to ask this.
Couple months ago when my order got placed the Cincinnati dealer entered it incorrectly (EB not hybrid), but everyone here gave great advice and said to just go with it because I wouldn't drive it enough every day. This weekend I got the email from Ford that many others got, telling me about supply chain issues and that in 45 days maybe I'll get a better update.
Only thing is, since it got ordered I've been applying to grad schools in England. It's much cheaper in the UK - but I was thinking of what I would do IF my Maverick arrived before next fall, should i bail? should i buy and resell? should i sell my order? The latter two are intriguing if it could help pay for the costs so I could graduate debt-free, but this is not my area of expertise. If it's between me marking it up as a used car or the shitty dealer, I'd rather be the one to benefit. But, is that market even there anymore? If I bail on my order, can I cancel directly with ford or will my dealer benefit?
edited to remove the fun parentheticals :/

No deposit paid yet / NOT making a permanent decision today - JUST asking if the resale market is still there so I am not panicking to make a decision in a couple months
