Had the dreaded wrench icon show up on my dash. Barely made it home, but the next day it was gone, and the truck ran fine. Took it to the dealership to have it looked at. Luckily while they were checking it out the wrench showed up again. The wrench icon is for a Power drive train malfunction. They were able to extract the code P0793 and replace a bad sensor. We will see how this all shakes out.

Hopefully it's over and done.
We had a 2016 Buick Encore That would randomly pop up a red dash warning that the Engine power was in reduced mode, the stabilitrack was inoperable, and the ABS was disabled.
Then it would go away for a couple weeks. Dealer found no codes stored and we were told we needed to bring it in while the warnings were there. Fortunately it happened to pop up while my wife was close so she drove it in and left it running. They got codes - a bunch of them and none made sense except for one that reported the throttle (pedal) sensor was lost and re-found by the computer. We were told there is a bad spot on the sensor (potentiometer) that was the cause of it all.
We traded it for a Bronco Sport.
