I know the feeling from my Jeep order 3 years ago (I did get it). The Wrangler and Maverick order and production process are very similar. The Wrangler is built in Toledo and the production process is also a mystery there. Orders made long after your order can be built before. Even if it starts build they have conveyor lines where some builds are put on the side to wait. They also have huge parking lots in the area of the plant where almost finished builds can go and wait for finishing, sometimes for weeks. My Wrangler was built right before Covid shut downs so I didn't have that problem.

Because my Jeep sat in ready to build status for 4 weeks I got impatient so I sent an email to the Presdident of Jeep with my VIN and order number asking why it was delayed. Early the next morning I had a call from an Executive Customer Manager saying he expedited my order and that it was in paint. He said when it finished later that day he would give it expedited shipping. He even called early morning when it was dropped at the dealer before they were open.

Do you know the email of the Ford CEO?

I missed the order window for the 2023 production and now have to wait 9 months to put my order in.

My original order was 12/14/21. Today I received an email stating my truck was built 389 days after the original order.

Nice. My son can only dream about it…..even if built this month, he would not see it until March….We had a 2022 VIN and date. That conversion to 2023 and “priority” did not go that well
