New member here, wanted to sign-up and voice my total amazement at this new runabout Ford is introducing. On paper it checks all my box's and in fact could very well be the best new vehicle Ford has launched in decades. Let's hope the dealerships don't ruin it's affordability right. Are you truly listening out there FORD ?
Tell the shysters to keep some plain janes on the lot and not just the loaded up crap. And more than just the clever 1 in the adds that got sold two minutes before you arrived at the dealership.
It will be a few more years before I can get into one, but man 'ole man, this thing is the future. Front wheel drive at that, right through the snow without a worry. And that projected gas mileage, even if the EPA comes under that you are not finding any vehicle with this utility close. Blows the new Hyundai out of the water. And yet has decent horsepower and torque.
Would prefer a two door to get a 6ft. bed but with everything else it's got right I could live with it and do some work-a-rounds.
Have not own a truck in over 19 years now, can't afford it nor even afford to drive the damn things with the gas mileage they get.
Drove a VW rabbit runabout truck in the early 1980's through my job, then in 1989 bought my first truck a Ford Ranger and the last one was in 2000 a Toyota Tacoma I had until 2002.
Currently in 2019 Honda Fit of which just about nothing can touch it's clever utility. That is until now.
