Just got done installing the Worksport AL4 tonneau on my '25 Lariat and it looks like it will work out well. I chose it over the AL3 mostly because the middle of the 3 panels also has latches for the extra security as you are not able to pry it up easily and it should help even more to keep things dry inside. these guys () went through the car wash with a guy in the bed of an F150 and it stayed pretty dry.

I wasn't looking for a flip up but I think that will end up making it easier to tie down the front of my kayak when putting it in so that's a bonus.

I'll update once I had it through some heavy rain but it'll probably be a while.

Looks really nice. Price is about $1100 USD?

PS: does it bother anyone else that the narrow, 4'-5" long tonneau covers for the Maverick are the exact same price as the wider 8'-0" long covers for full-size longbed trucks? I keep expecting the price to be less when I select a Maverick as the application. But, no 😂

Yeah $1100. I was thinking the same thing that they should be cheaper for our micro beds compared to the 8 footers! Although I guess the actual materials cost probably isn't really that much less and the labor is about the same.

What do you mean about added rails? I've not tried a hose test as I just washed the truck the day before and don't want to get it spotted up.

I just watched an AL3 install video, now I see what you are talking about. Yes, the AL4 has bed length rails instead of just the brackets that bolt on, it's brackets are attached to those rails.

I'll take a closer look at mine later. It does have a separate hinged "header" panel that is about 5-6" wide that is the part that bolts the cab end of the tonneau down that is also the hinge point for when the cover flips up. I think it had a rubber gasket on there but now I can't remember.

Update on my AL3 cover. The material Worksport sent failed miserably. Looking at the AL3 on the Maverick it is obvious they needed to make it wider since the hinge seals barely sit on the bed rails. Also because it is so short and narrow it isn't heavy enough to hold itself down to the bed. This was simply a cover from a larger truck shrank down to fit without testing it well. I will be calling them today to return it since it does not work as advertised.
Thanks for the update. I've never had a pickup and I'm stunned there are so many choices in tonneau covers! It's good to get honest opinions

I'm happy with the AL4, it's got the side rails with sealing gasket and each panel locks in so keeps it nice and tight. Here is a closeup of the rail profile, as well as a full length shot.

That's too bad. Here's another pic with one of the panels flipped up that shows the AL4 overlap past their rails with another wide gasket.
