Maverick Hard cover TriFold Tonneau cover improperly installed?

Seams my Tri fold was improperly installed. What do you think. It’s like have lumps in it instead of being being flat. I’m taking it back tomorrow. What do you think.

It looks like the latch isn't engaged. Can you press it down?

I just checked the latches. It will not go down. The service man at Ford said it was the seal and needed to wait a few days. I had the same cover put on my Maverick 2022, and it was flat when it was installed. Service man said it was due to weather, but I don’t think so it’s 56 degrees, not like it’s freezing or anything.

You could try a hair dryer, but it still looks like a faulty product.

Definitely looks broken, it may just be the way the pic was taken, but the second section looks twisted. Appears to be either a poor install job, or it was damaged prior to or during installation.
