Wireless CarPlay adapter, hidden

i like the setup. all about small tweaks. question: i havent found a wireless carplay adapter yet that works properly. which one did you find that is that small and works?

I purchased this one on Amazon it works fine. It hooks up quick but I wouldn’t recommend it because the USB-C cable did not work. I went to target and had to spend another eight dollars and get one that did work. but the cable for USB to USB worked.

ok; thanks for the feedback. I tried three quite expensive ones (over $100) and no-go. Maybe i need to thing cheaper!

I have a 2024 Ford maverick lariat. It didn’t come with wireless CarPlay or ambient lighting for the tray. I added pictures below. The last photo shows there may be a slight risk to wire. I did not want to alter the parts, so I just left it as is.

Interesting solution. Mine wasn’t quite as elegant but still works. I used u-glue to stick my Carlinkit to underside of the storage area. I also added wireless charging. I used zip ties to corral the cables.

@Crowman So here's how mine looks. The wire goes left and wraps with the trim piece. My Motorola M1a is up inside behind the trim piece. 2 images showing wire and 1 showing it's not Velcro to the underside.

My M1a has worked very good and always seems to connect reliably.
