Windshield vinyl brow. Does the camera still work?

I purchased some vinyl to install a brow on windshield. I cut out around the camera and it seems to work fine so far. I think if you’ve been on the fence about installing one, you should go for it!

Yes, it still works fine. I did the same thing to my 2022

I was a little nervous. I probably could’ve looked for the thread on here about it working fine. It was my first time using vinyl too. Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Is that on the outside of the windshield?… if so, how do the wipers function without streaking and ruining the brow?

Excellent question Larry.
I have the interior tinted brow on mine.
I've taken pictures previously on another subject that shows the sweep of my wipers goes into the tinted area. I imagine it does the same thing with the vinyl Brow on the outside.

Ok, i have the two piece brow that from outside doesn‘t look as nice as yours.
You did a real nice job installing that.

Yes,
It is on the outside. Time will tell how well it holds up. I will post any issues that might arise. This is exterior vinyl so I’m hoping it lasts through the summer
