My son's Maverick has developed a wind noise or whistle at around 60MPH. It sounds like a window is just barely open. I looked at all the door gaskets and nothing seems out of place also ran windows down and back up. Searched the forums but didn't find anyone else reporting this issue.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

Is your noise coming from the windshield? I installed silicon sealant around my whole windshield and that fixed the noise that I had.

Start by masking off the door glass with 2” masking tape and take it for a drive and reevaluate the noise.

Strangely on my 22 I have just noticed this , although not a full out whistle just a air sound - and went thru the same process as you -

Before I go on - .... No "Ford" account - I am not sending you my info - so save the thread space.

It is coming from the front passenger side - not overbearing (slightly irritating though) but exactly as you described - I'll follow this thread and like the painter's tape idea suggested above and have to try that when time allows.

Cheers

After the windshield do the dollar bill test on the door gasket put the bill between body and gasket then close door pull bill out should be snug.

My roof rack causes a whistle.

What I have seen in other vehicles is the door getting slightly bent. Usually by someone who has mobility issues and grabs the top edge of the door frame for support when getting in or out.

My '24 Lariat displayed the same noise. My wife complained of the noise on the passenger side. I noticed the insulation padding between (visible whith door open) the engine compartment and door jamb is about 4 inches short at the top. I plugged this open space with scrap foam rubber pieces. This cured the noise issue. My is happy
